
Pat Raichart joined Music Center of the Northwest as trombone faculty member and Operations Manager in February 2007. Currently the second trombonist in the Tacoma Symphony, he has lived and worked in Chicago, Houston, Denver, and Seattle performing with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Orchestra X, Colorado Symphony, Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, Opera Colorado, Tacoma Symphony, and the Bellevue Philharmonic as well as participating in recording projects for film, television and video game soundtracks.
His principal teachers have included Frank Crisafulli, Jay Friedman and Michael Mulcahy of the Chicago Symphony and David Waters of the Houston Symphony. Patrick earned a B.M. in Trombone Performance from Northwestern University in Chicago and a M.M. from Rice University in Houston.
