Find us on Anna Doak, double bass
Anna studied composition at the University of Washington as a Brechmin scholarship recipient and later graduated magna cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts with a BA in double bass performance. She is currently a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta and performs frequently with the Seattle Symphony, Northwest Chamber Orchestra, Astoria Music Festival and on numerous recording projects. Anna formerly served as principal bassist for the National Academy Orchestra of Canada, and taught at Western Washington University for 3 years. In addition to maintaining an active teaching studio, Anna has published arrangements for double bass ensemble that have been performed world wide.
