
Christine holds a BM in violin performance from the University of Washington and has been teaching private violin lessons since 1998. A Suzuki specialist, Christine has completed five units of training in the Suzuki books plus two special-topic courses through the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
As a young student, Christine was a two-time winner of the Orchestra of Southern Utah Concerto Competition and won Superior ratings at the Utah State Solo and Ensemble Competitions. During her senior year in high school, she was a Rotary International exchange student in Munich, Germany and studied violin with Stephan Kirlpal. Christine was the concertmaster of the Southern Utah University Symphony for three years and attended the prestigious Meadowmount School of Music, where she studied violin and viola. Christine has been teaching and performing in the Seattle area for seven years. She performs regularly in the violin and harp duo, Cascading Strings, and has enjoyed frequently performing with string quartets, rock bands and with the Federal Way Symphony.
