Richard P. Langford III, violin and viola

Richard graduated from Hollywood High School’s Fine Arts Program and received his BA from Whitworth College.  He taught music in the Kent and Federal Way school districts and was head of the Choral Department at Tarkio College in Missouri.  He has played with the Spokane Symphony and the Kansas City Symphony, and was former concertmaster and principal violist for the Thalia Symphony and Seattle Philharmonic.  Now semi-retired, he plays with the Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society and has been the solo violinist for Civic Light Opera.
