Fran Lukas

Fran Lukas began playing the saxophone in school at age 12, and began teaching at Music Center of the Northwest in 1997. She studied music at Central Michigan University and Shoreline Community College, also studying with Johnnie Jessen, Doug Reed, and Jay Easton. Fran has performed with the Northwest Mahler Orchestra, the Washington Wind Symphony, the Dudley Manlove Quartet, Mambo 9, Cubata, Batambo, Aluminum Toast, and is currently a member of the Firebird Ensemble. Fran also works at Granlund Woodwinds as a flute-repair tech.
