Music For Kids
Our childhood music programs are based on the idea that with the proper teaching, encouragement, and atmosphere, all children can learn to play, read, and appreciate music.
A class for the very youngest children, our Music Together classes introduce children to basic musicial concepts through songs, rhythm rhymes, movement, and instrument play. The classes are relaxed and nonthreatening.

Like Dr. Suzuki, we believe that music education can be more than just learning an instrument. The Music Center Suzuki Academy is based on the philosophy that, with proper teaching, proper environment, and encouragement, all children can learn to play and read music just as all children can learn to speak and read their native language.

Musikgarten Cycle of Seasons
Wednesday 11:00 - 11:45 am
ages 3 - 5 yrs
First class is free! A musical celebration of the four seasons, this class nurtures children’s ability to use language with lessons incorporating songs, movement activities, exploration of instruments and imaginative stories. Tuition includes CD, cards for listening lessons, and parent book. Taught by Kristen Ramer.

Children's Choir
Monday 5:00-6:00 pm; 10 weeks per session

Tuition: $160 / session
A great introduction to choral singing, this class combines the basics of musicianship with fun, age-appropriate repertoire. Each quarterly course will culminate in an end-of-term performance. No experience necessary! Please contact instructor to find out each quarter’s repertoire.
Hand Drumming for Kids
Tuesday 5:00 - 6:00 pm; 10 weeks per session

Ages: 7 - 14 yrs

Tuition: $160 / session
Play 3 and 4 part African polyrhythms. Using vocalizations, body percussion, and hand drums (congas and djembes), we will experience what rhythm can do and it can do a lot. It is fun, exhilarating, inspiring, healthful. No experience necessary, drums provided. Register Today!
Saxophone for Kids
Tuesday 6:00-7:00 pm; 10 weeks per session

Tuition: $160 / session
Come and have fun learning to play saxophone in a group setting for kids. Learn the basics such as instrument care, tone production, playing as a group, and note reading. No prior musical experience is needed.
Kids Voice Class
Monday 6:00 - 7:00 pm; 10 weeks per session

Ages: 6 - 12 yrs

Do your kids love to sing? In this course they’ll learn the basics of healthy singing in a fun, relaxed setting. Students will have the opportunity to sing individually and with the group and will prepare one solo piece to sing for their classmates. Taught by Kristen Ramer Liang; no experience necessary.
