This is a community string orchestra, celebrating its 25th anniversary season. Participants learn musical style and orchestral technique through preparation of advanced string orchestra repertoire. Advanced high school players are invited to participate with permission of the director. There are no auditions, but regular attendance at rehearsal, home practice of parts, and participation in performances is expected.

Formerly the Intermediate String Orchestra, this fun group is for those who are new to the orchestral experience - only moderate technical skills are needed. The music is graded at a level less advanced then Hildman Strings and represents all musical styles from Bach to Pop. There is an informal concert on the last day of each class section. Women's Chorale

A great opportunity to grow in your ability as a choral singer, this chorale is designed for women of varying musical backgrounds. This non-threatening, fun environment will introduce singers to proper singing techniques as well as expose singers to a variety of musical styles.
Voice Ensemble
Wednesday 6:30-8:30 pm; 10 weeks per session

Tuition: $180 / session
In this class we will use the technique you are learning in your private lessons and apply it to singing duets, trios, quartets, and larger group numbers with your singing peers; music will include standard classical pieces as well as opera and musical theater repertoire. We will work on acting, musical preparation, language preparation, working with an accompanist, and staging. Instructor permission required.
Children's Choir

A great introduction to choral singing, this class combines the basics of musicianship with fun, age-appropriate repertoire. Each quarterly course will culminate in an end-of-term performance. No experience necessary! Please contact instructor to find out each quarter’s repertoire.
Music Center Madrigals

Discover the beautiful harmonies of early music! This all-ages vocal ensemble sings a cappella works primarily from the 15th – 17th centuries. Each quarterly course will culminate in an end-of-term performance. Prerequisite: Sight-singing class or equivalent experience. Vocal Jazz Ensemble
