Friday 5:30 - 7:00 pm
This is a community string orchestra, celebrating its 25th anniversary season. Participants learn musical style and orchestral technique through preparation of advanced string orchestra repertoire. Advanced high school players are invited to participate with permission of the director. There are no auditions, but regular attendance at rehearsal, home practice of parts, and participation in performances is expected. Directed by Janice Hildman Gockel.
Fall Concert Section: September 5 - November 14, 2008. Concert Nov. 16 at 4pm. Tuition: $115
Winter Concert Section: January 9 - March 13, 2009. Concert Mar. 15 at 4pm. Tuition: $115

Oak Lake Strings
Wednesday 7:30 - 8:30 pm
Formerly the Intermediate String Orchestra, this fun group is for those who are new to the orchestral experience - only moderate technical skills are needed. The music is graded at a level less advanced then Hildman Strings and represents all musical styles from Bach to Pop. There is an informal concert on the last day of each class section. Directed by Richard Langford.

Women's Chorale
Thursday 7:30-9:00 pm
A great opportunity to grow in your ability as a choral singer, this chorale is designed for women of varying musical backgrounds. This non-threatening, fun environment will introduce singers to proper singing techniques as well as expose singers to a variety of musical styles. Directed by Erin Walker.

Friday 3:45 - 4:30 pm
This choir is geared towards young, beginning singers; the relaxed atmosphere provides a fun way to gain ensemble experience. An informal concert will take place during the last day of each section. Directed by Kristen Ramer.
