Music Lessons

Piano lessonMusic Center currently offers music lessons for Voice, Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass,Clarinet,Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Recorder, Accordion, and Japanese Koto.

If you’re interested in lessons, please contact our office and we’ll gladly refer you to one of our faculty members, who will work with you in setting up a convenient day and time for your lesson. If you’re interested in the Suzuki method, please visit our Suzuki page.

* Paying at each lesson occurence requires pre-authorization by your instructor and a signed agreement to automatically withdraw lesson fees from a credit or debit card. Contact our office for details.

** Full year rates are for weekly lessons from September 3, 2008 - June 13, 2009. Students enrolling after the third week of September will have their tuition pro-rated for the number of weeks remaining before June 13, 2009.

Tuition Discounts

All discounts must be used in the same term as the lessons and are non-transferable.

"Second Student" Discount: Families with more than one student registered for private lessons may take a discount of 10% for the second student and 5% for subsequent students. The 10% discount will be taken from the smallest tuition and the 5% from the next smallest.

Attendance

Credit will be given for any lessons missed due to teacher absence. Students may received a maximum of two excused absences when 48 hours notice is given.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Withdrawal from full year lessons requires four weeks written notification. Tuition is then pro-rated for lessons remaining. All refunds are subject to a $15 drop fee.

Student Recitals

All Music Center students are encouraged to perform in front of an audience when they're ready, and to help facilitate this we offer several general student recitals each term. To participate, decide on a piece (or pieces) of music to perform, then submit a student recital form pdf icon to our office.
