Rhythm Kids by Music Together®
Rhythm Kids was created and developed by musician, composer and percussionist, Tom Foote with more than ten years of in-class research with children of all ages. Tom noticed that many children stop taking music classes between the ages of 4-8 because they aged out of “Mommy & Me” classes and they weren’t quite ready for private instruction. Rhythm Kids is designed to help children integrate and assimilate rhythm into their lives in a way that would keep children engaged, and actively participating in music, for as long as possible.

Monica Allen is extremely excited to share Co-Directorship with Janice Gockel! This will be Monica"s seventh year teaching Music Together and each year her SQ (silly quotient) grows! As a Music Education graduate from The University of South Carolina in 2005, Monica has made her way across the country to find a rich, musical environment here in Seattle. But, her southern roots are held strong and you can definitely hear a little country when she sings. The Music Together program here at Music Center has been a wonderful opportunity for Monica to express her passion for music and children. She loves to rock out!
